Originally from Oklahoma Has always loved music and has been playing guitar since the age of 10.

 

Auditioned for his first band when he was 12 and had played several music recitals before that. He also wrote his first few songs at that time and has been inspired at times since then to write and record until now and continues to write new material with the band he's currently in.

 

He has played music with various other artists in Southern California, Portland Oregon and now currently in Las Vegas Nevada. He was privileged to play with greats such as Phil "Fang" Volk, bass player for Paul Revere And The Raiders. Fred Schrueders and Dallas Tally. And now for a few years, decided to joined forces with "Forgotten Door". Mike had known the two founders from a couple of years previously. And after a sit down meeting one afternoon, and hearing the material that Mike had written, and what a talented and powerful lead guitarist he is, the decision was made mutually by all that he was the right addition. "Forgotten Door" has benefited greatly from Michael's artistic and creative abilities. His contribution has been almost uncanny, in that, his style of writing and arranging, perfectly complement the other two songwriters.
